Recently local schools were asked if they would like to ask some of their pupils to decorate stones for inclusion on the Colchester road sign.

We are pleased to say that the response was fantastic and we have some wonderful stones being laid.

This photo shows some of the stones being varnished.

We hope that this will give an interesting approach into Halstead from the direction of Colchester.
